Salutations, I am using IV 2025. I would like to make a path array in my 2d .idw drawing. Is it possible to pick a curved path to array on in the 2d .IDW sketch mode? If so how do you do it? It would seem I can pick a straight line for the path but the the array function does not respond when I pick the curve. Thanks in advance.

Hi! I don't believe there is any patterning workflow in Inventor drawing except in the 2D sketch environment, patterning sketch geometry.

It sounds like an AutoCAD workflow. If you like AutoCAD drafting workflows, you may use VIEWBASE to create associative drawing views to Inventor components. Then annotate the views using AutoCAD draft tools. When the Inventor components update, AutoCAD will update the drawing views accordingly.

Many thanks!
