done this before. for some reason can't remember how.

(i don't think i was a problem in past version)

I want to copy view info from Inventor drawing to AutoCad model space. (used to be just ctrl-C(inventor) ctrl-v(autocad).  i would then block the info in Autocad with the appropriate name.

should be easy. what am i missing??

Hi, I have always done the reverse workflow. From Autocad copy and paste in Inventor. In the opposite case, I export from inventor to dxf or dwg and then work in Autocad. I will try to see if there is any possibility. Grettings

Hi! There is another workflow not mentioned here. In AutoCAD, you can use VIEWBASE command to create associative drawing views to Inventor assembly or part. Once the views are created, you can use EXPORTLAYOUT command to export the views to model space.

Many thanks!
