Hi together,
when Im exporting an inventor assembly to an STEP file and I open it up a Ansys Workbench, two parts of the assembly are missing. What kind of settings are wrong ?
On the attached picture the blue parts are missing.
Edit: Error when analyzing von Mises stress: invalid body with zero volume
With kind regards, Alex.

Are those parts surfaces or non-solids in the original Inventor 3D model? Check options in importing at Workbench, and if you got any errors upon import. Also try to import the STEP back into Inventor to see if all components are there, then export back out.

Yep, exporting back to Inventor and then exporting again as STEP file worked. Ok, some materialspecs are gone but I can reassign them.
Thanks so much!
