Partial chamfer bug?

Has any one else had this issue with partial chamfer? The edge that needs to be chamfered is exactly 125mm long. I have the partial chamfer set to 125 mm, yet the chamfer continues past the silver marker ball all the way down the part? In the meantime, I will set it to 124.9999 and just do a cut extrude to get rid of the wall. See JPEG and attached part.

Hi! The behavior does look defective to me. Could you share the part here? I would like to work with the project team to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

I tried to attach the file but I must have done something wrong. I will try again. It is not letting me or I am doing it wrong.

This thing wont let me post if I have the .Ipt file attached. It is very flaky.

Hi, you can send the part directly to Johnson using his work email address, or share it with me:

if there are security problems, zipping the file likely will solve that.

Thanks,

Gerald

Hi,

Johnson and I had a short discussion and decided to involve the team working on the modelling kernel. We will update you with what they find.

Kind regards,

Gerald

You are not the only one. I am experiencing the same difficulties with attaching files. My guess is - we are going through another wave of "improvements"

Cheers,

Igor.
