Original AC files now downloaded still referencing ACC files incorrectly

Hi All,

I've had this issue for a while now and was hoping to get some light shed on it.

I originally had an assembly stored on ACC with maybe 15 parts. I wanted to store a copy of it on my C drive to edit it locally without affecting the assembly stored on ACC. So I downloaded and unzipped the files onto a folder on my C drive and made a ipj for it too. But when I open the new assembly stored on my C drive with its project active, the parts in the assembly are coming from ACC appearing in the file tree with the cloud symbol that ACC files do.

When I shut down desktop connector and re-open the assembly I get that "Opening files stored from local cache restart desktop connector" message for all the files and then the file opens with the parts stored on my C drive correctly, the way I want it. But I have to shut down desktop connector each time I want to open these files.

I'm not sure why the files keep going back to the ACC files but its really quite frustrating, if anyone could help me out on this one that'd be great.

Thanks,

Matthew

Hi!

Try to do a "Pack and Go" for a new folder.

Hi, so sorry for not replying i've been pretty busy.

I've tried to use the pack and go before and I have the same issue, also I often use iLogic Design Copy often to rename all the files which saves me heaps of time, and the pack and go hasn't got any option to rename files which is important for my workflow. So both methods still refer to the old ACC files for some reason. But again once the Desktop Connector app is shut down via task manager then the files open correctly.

Thanks
