ordinate not starting at zero

Don't see a solution to this.  On the left view, ordinate dimension will not start at zero.  I can only imagine it is because I'm starting on a radius?  Inventor won't pick up the edge of the part shown in the right view?  I tried adding a sketch but same result.  I tried picking the top edge of the radius and that give the .5, 0, .5 shown on the left view.

I can't say for sure without being able to open the file, but it's possible that you have an ordinate origin defined for the view.  If you right click on one of your ordinate dimensions, do you see something like this?

If so, uncheck the "Hide Origin Indicator" and you will see the origin indicator in the view and can move it to the correct location.

Maybe now you can let me in on the secret of how to add to the ordinate dims that have been started.  🙂

It depends on which tool you used to place them.  If they are simple Ordinate Dimensions, then you just use the tool to create more.  If they are an Ordinate Dimension Set, you right click on any part of the set and choose Add Member.  You will also find lots of other useful things in the right click menu!

I was right clicking on the origin.  There is no add to, but as you say, I should have been clicking on the ordinate set.  I was focused on the origin out of habit.
