Offset without Convert Entities

It would be nice if we can offset entities without convert entities firts. Currently we have to convert entities first, if we would like to offset entities or we have to set up the option to "auto project edge..."

Hi! This is about the need to project edges in order to reference them in a 2D Sketch. The behavior is not limited to offset. Dimension and constraint are required too. This was a design decision made early on in Inventor to stablize sketch compute and sketch-based feature compute. The rationale is that when the source edge is missing or becomes inassociative to the sketch, the sketch feature will still compute.
