Odd issue with 2017 update

Ok so long story short, had to reinstall INV2017 and I need to put the update packs back on but they just wont install.

I have an up to date windows 10 machine and I am using the browser down loaded .exe packages.

I double click to the exe, it loads the window below "Inventor 2017.4 Update, modify set up" and that's it!

I left it to run like that all last night and it didn't install.... just seems to hang... any ideas?inv2017 update.jpg

Hi! The behavior does not sound right. Please go to %temp% folder, find the update install log file, and send it to me directly (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com).

Was it installed as an .exe or .msi? If it was .msi, you might need to uninstall Inventor 2017 and reinstall 2017 and 2017.4 update.

Apologies, I didn't realize I had a reply to my question. Unfortunately, I still have the same problem. Would you be able to help me by clarifying the exact file you need me to send you?

I am having this problem with the .exe for Inv update.

In your personal temp (%temp%) folder C:\users\<username>\Appdata\local\temp should be log file associated to this update 2017.4.   Attach them here for review.
