I did the latest update to Inventor and I now have 2025.2 build 273
I want to place a view on the drawing sheet and there is no longer a preview.

The show preview is ticked as shaded in the options box.

This used to have a preview before the update.

Please help

See image below.

The latest released update for Inventor 2025 is 2025.1.2, build 241.  I'm guessing that you have the beta build of update 2025.2?  If so, please direct your issue to the Autodesk Feedback Community.

Hi! Or, the target model is a surface or a mesh model.

Many thanks!

Hi Anthony,

Does it happen to any part or this specific part? Please share the file directly with me (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com). I would like to understand the behavior better. Another thing to try is to use Inventor Reset Utility to reset all settings back to install defaults.

Many thanks!

I even tried making a new part and still the same behaviour.
When I uninstalled the update the preview came back
