When replacing .ipn model reference on drawing:

I thought this was weird since this was not a sheet metal part. Any clues?...

Hi Mitchell,

This could be an erroneous error message bug. Or there is indeed a corrupted sheet metal drawing view in the drawing file. Please share the files with me directly at [email protected]. I would like to understand it better.

Many thanks!

Hi! Just to share some findings with Mitchell's dataset, the behavior is indeed confirmed. I am able to reproduce the erroneous error message as Mitchell reported. It seems to be related to some sort of corruption in the source ipn file. For some reason, Inventor assumes it is a sheet metal part, which is clearly wrong. We don't know how this corruption happened. Unfortunately, the ipn file will need to be recreated in order to purge the corruption.

Many thanks!
