Need to snap an assembly to a part in a presentation storyboard

I have a presentation storyboard where I am trying to show a tube moving through a hole. The tube is an assembly, and the hole is a part. I use tweak components to move the tube and the locate tool to pick a node on the front of the tube. The problem I am having is when I move to the hole the is no node to snap to, so the tube ends up out in space.

Is there a way to make nodes appear on the components not being tweaked in the scene?

Hi Karl,

The Tweak command is geometry-based. You may create a surface with the desirable grip points in the part. Go to the assembly -> Update. The surface will be visible in the presentation storyboard. Tweak it however you like. Then go back to the part and hide the surface.

Many thanks!

I think my issue is that no grip points are visible on other objects in the scene after I start tweaking the initial assembly. Is there an option to turn grip points off or snapping?
