Need advice on replacing my Dell 7710 Laptop to run Inventor 2023

I have searched the forum and haven’t found anything recent regarding recommended PC/Graphics configurations for Inventor 2023.I have already looked at the recommended hardware list on the inventor website but I was looking for some real world opinions

I currently run Inventor 2023 and Fusion 360 on a 5 year old Dell Precision 7710 Laptop as follows
Intel Core i5-6300HQ @2.3Ghz

Intel HD Graphics 530 embedded

AMD FirePro W5170M

512GB HD

32GB RAM

I am currently considering a a Dell XPS Tower

12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700

Radeon RX 6700 XT

32GB RAM

1 TB HD + 512GB SSD

I know the Graphics card is not on the Inventor recommended list, but will this setup work for design of assemblies of 100 parts or less? Looking for recommendations or advice as I don’t want to spend the money on another Workstation. Also open to suggestions for other systems

Thanks

Take a look at the Invmark leaderboard:  https://invmark.cadac.com/#/

Run the benchmark on your old hardware to get a baseline, then search the board for the processor or machine model that you are interested in.  I expect that the new machine will be overkill for small Inventor assemblies  of simple parts.

If your modeling requires lots of individual faces and edges, then you might start to need a high performance machine. Think patterning 100s of cuts or very complex shapes.
