Naming Scheme for Frame generator and Vault

Good Morning,

We have been working with Vault naming scheme and the recent update from 2019.2 seems to have taken the functionality of vault naming scheme from frame generator.

I am not sure what the problem was with vault naming parts, that has brought Autodesk to the point for removing the function.

Could anyone please advice me what should we do to have the vault naming scheme back in the frame generator back?

Hello @Anonymous,

Assume you are talking about Inventor 2019.2 update, right?

OK, it seems a known problem (INVGEN-22733) for Frame Generator and please uninstall the 2019.2 for now to bypass.

Hi @Xun.Zhang,

How is this bug report going on?

We rely on to use this functionality every day in and out. Currently, we are in sort of a limbo. We are trying some other tricks on naming parts but they take a while. Would really appreciate if we could get some answer from your team.

By checking the details of the ticket, it was resolved internally.

Please install the next Inventor and Vault update then.
