Multibody solids to populate BOM

Just wondering if its possible to create a multi-body part with (5) solids and have each of those solids represent a line item in the BOM?

No.  To get them to show up in the BOM, the solids would have to be derived out to separate part files using "Make Part" or "Make Components".  Nothing below the part level exists as far as the BOM / Parts List is concerned.

Another alternative would be to place your multi-body part in an assembly file and create a virtual component for each solid. In the assembly, set the multi-body part "BOM Structure" to phantom to hide it from the BOM. You can then define the part # , description & custom iProperties for each virtual component from the BOM. I hope that provides another method you can try.
