Multi-Solid body work-flow question - Inventor LT

Multi-Solid body work-flow question - Inventor LT

I have an Inventor LT part (.ipt) composed of four solid bodies.  If I turn the solid bodies on one at a time and create .idw drawings for each, the visibility of the the various solid bodies 'sticks' on each drawing - i.e., if I change the visibility in the 3D viewer, it will not change the drawing view.  (Note that I can't find a setting for or discussion about this, so have deemed it magic - no problem as long as it works.)

If, however, I add a part to the .ipt file, this new part shows up in all the .idw drawing views and I can't find a way to turn the new part off in the older drawing views without recreating the drawing views.

Is there a way around this - in other words: is there a way to add a part to a model without it showing up in all existing drawing views of that model?

Use "Make Part" or "Make Components" to create .ipt files for each solid body. Then make drawings of the part files.

I'm unsure if LT has this capability, but you can set View Representations within a part.  My windows are tiled, but my part is the active one and you can see my browser tree.

I then just added base views and selected which representation I would like shown.
