Move command

I don't know what it is but I can never get the "move" command to seem to do anything while in a sketch. If I want to move a group of holes in a sketch, I select the Move command, select objjects, slsect base point and then select "precise input", enter the x-y values, but nothing moves?

Make a Sketch Block.

Attach your *.ipt file here if you can't figure it out.

Select the entities.

Choose a base point.

Then, insert the X and Y distances (in this option)

THEN PRESS ENTER!

(How can I quote your answer?)

Do you have some tutorial to do sketch blocks?

Probably - but Autodesk Screencast site is such a disaster it would take me too long to find.

Maybe someday they will figure out how to ......

Hi KevinPinks7697,

It could be due to your Relax Mode settings:

http://help.autodesk.com/view/INVNTOR/2015/ENU/?guid=GUID-A70EA377-475A-4A54-86B4-D653ED1708D0

I notice that if any of the sketch points are constrained to a projected geometry, it doesn't work, regardless of the Relax Mode settings.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
