Mouse cursor freezing when moving across to model tree

I have a strange issue when moving my mouse cursor from the main view in inventor over to the model tree. During a command, for example, placing a new freeform shape, if I goto the model tree to pick a plane the mouse cursor will freeze and lag badly.

Eventually, the mouse will unfreeze (3-5 seconds) its possible to get the plane selection done and move the cursor back into the main model view with no problems.

Problem also exists in sketch /extrude / hole commands (when going to the model tree to pick a plane).

System Spec

I am running Inventor 2019 Professional, Build 136, Release 2019.0.1

Windows 10 Pro

x2 Nvidia 1080 graphics card

3dxonnexion spacenavigator (SW: 10.5.6) - I have tried uninstalling and running inventor without spacenavigator, but problem still exists.

Hi Scott,

This could be graphics related. Please make sure the graphics card driver is up-to-date. Also, make sure your computer is using the dedicated graphics card to run Inventor, as opposed to the integrated graphics chip.

Were you able to inspect your Graphics Card within Device Manager and make sure you're using the correct specs?

Also make sure you're up to date from the manufacturer's website.
