This should help. Hopefully you have a backup if they are missing otherwise you will likely need to download a new set,

Can you click the drop down or is it greyed out?

I get this sometimes and I just have to click the drop down, but yours looks greyed out.

Hi @Anonymous

If you hold the SHIFT + CTRL keys and click the new button you will get a window that will allow you to open the embedded templates, so you can use that to open a part file and save it to you templates folder as "Standard.ipt" then you should be good to go.

I hope this helps.

Hi! I think the issue is that there aren't Standard template in the "Template" folder designated by your active project. Go to Get Started -> Project -> Folder Options -> Template. Make sure there are template files there. If not, simply create a new set (Tools -> App Options -> File -> Configure Default Templates).

One minor correction to Curtis' comments, the shortcut to get a file started from the upper left corner does not use any template. The file carries system default settings (length unit = centimeter for example). Likely you will need to  make change in Tools -> Doc Settings afterwards. It is better to start with a template file, so that you don't have to set it everytime.

Many thanks!
