Missing Panel Bar & Browser Bar??

My co-worker is working on his first Inventor project and he opened up Inventor 11 this morning and both his panel and browser bar are no where to be seen - yet checked off in the options as visible? What is the problem and how do we fix it. He used it two days ago and everything was fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Craig

Hi Craig,
After launching Inventor, Right mouse click on the tool bar
area & make sure Panel Bar & Browser Bar are checked
in the context menu to show them. Save & close Inventor. Re-launching should
them eventually.

Do you see them checked or have they been unchecked by any chance?

Please let us know your feedback!

Thanks

Try this:

Tools > Customize > Reset All button

NOTE: You might want to export your own settings first.

We've already tried both of the suggestions and still no browser or panel bar.

The solution has been described a number of times in this discussion group,
maybe it needs to be added to the FAQ (Kent?).

Edit the following registry entries

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Inventor\RegistryVersion10.0\DockingAreas\PanelBar
Change the value for Left = 100 (or some low number)
Change the value for Top = 100

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Inventor\RegistryVersion10.0\DockingAreas\BrowserBar
Change the value for Left = 100 (or some low number)
Change the value for Top = 100

Or you can try setting the value of Floating = 0 for each of the above.

I see you are using R11. Replace "Version10.0" in the entries below with
"Version11.0"
