Merging model states (or otherwise copying changes back to Master/Primary)?

Hi all,

We have a number of assemblies that were worked on in a particular model state, but now we are trying to apply what's in that model state back to the 'Master' or 'Primary' model state. In essence we want this custom model state to be the new Primary. This is in Inventor Pro 2023.

Is anyone aware of a way to do this? The changes are mostly suppressed components, some pattern changes and a lot of changes to constraints. Since it doesn't seem to be a straightforward process, I thought perhaps it could be achieved through iLogic (Component Constraints.Add) but there are so many components that it's not practical to build a rule by manually capturing the current state of every component. Even if that could be automated, I'm not sure it would be as simple as building the rule in one model state and running it in the Primary state.

Any input or ideas would be appreciated!

Just right-click on the "Model States" folder and click "Edit via Spreadsheet". In there, just highlight & copy the line item you want (all fields after the "Member" column) up to the Primay row and paste it/overwrite what's there. Two   screenshots below (I didn't actually perform the copy since I didn't want to screw up my model).

Tyvm! This was driving me crazy, imagine having some kind of right click, transfer to Primary State...
