Hi, i am pretty new to Inventor 2016 and for some reason when i use measure the little dynamic box that used to come up to select another face, axis, centre or what ever doesnt appear now, i can still right click to get to get the dialog box, does anybody know what i have accidently switched off ?

Hi,

It will still pop up, it just takes a little longer than it used to.

I always right click and choose "select other", this is slightly faster.

Hi,

Don't select the edge/ face etc. but hoover over it.

After 3 seconds or so it should give you this window.

This is the pop up menu you are looking for right?

Hi,

Go to app options and look in the General tab for the selection.

Is it set to off?

Change off to 1 or 2 seconds.

Does it work now?

Hi Frank, mine was set at 2 seconds but didnt come on at all, so i changed it to 1 sec and now it works ? but any way thank you for your help, i didnt even know that facility was there !! your a star !!!
