Material density keeps resetting

Hello all,

For too long I've been struggling with the material properties. The density of for example steel, shows 0,06 without any kind of unit. When I change this to 7800 (7,8 gr/cm³ times 1000), then I get to the right weight. I have to do this every time again. All units are set to metric as far as I can see. 

Also the option 'Set Display Units' is set to 'Metric Standard', but it does not help.

Hope someone can help me out. I've attached a screenshot.

You need to change it in your template and save it to your style library.

Also notice your material is Steel(2).

Try change it to Mild Steel or other in your library.

Q1. Have you created a custom material library?

For example, my FEA class is DSG 326, so we create a custom library for the materials that we use in this class.

We create sub-categories such as Steel, Aluminum and Plastics.

No new library, working from the Inventor Material Library. Added some new materials but the problem as it seems is in the units. Standard materials that are always in this standard library, such as Steel, Mild, have a density of 0,06 without a visible unit.
