Material Category sheet metal 2017

Setting up sheet metal for client test machine I made a new library put a new style in but can't find anyway to put it in Metal Category..

 Thought it was as easy as changing drop down in edit to metal but not..

Really they could not make it where I edit when making and setting type to metal...........

 Why why all the extra clicks and steps UGH.............
