hi, how do i make a matching male and a female thread in inventor?

i have a few parts like this that need to work together:

but using thread feature does not create a male thread i guess?

how do i make it screw in each other?

Modeled threads or cosmetic threads?  (By default Inventor makes cosmetic threads, modeled threads requires extra steps.) Your drawing view shows Simplified Representation.

How will the threads be manufactured in the real world.
