Make component & Make part, Difference?

Hi all,

I am making a parametric model using the multi-solid workflow, I selected my solids and wanted to create the individual parts.

At which point I came across 2 options:

- Make components

- Make part

What is the difference between these two? Why would you use one over the other?

Thanks

There is no real difference except that Make Components places your part(s) into an assembly (if desired).

Both techniques create part file(s) from the bodies.
