Loft not working, unable to add rails

I'm trying to create a loft to connect the 2 solids in the attachment but it's not allowing me to select more than 2 rails. I've searched and found that often the problem is that the rails are not fully connected to the surfaces, I think I fixed this and now I don't know what else to do.

There should be clear guidelines wihout the exta projected one then it would let you make a loft with guide curves.

I was going to show you a much much easier way to model this - but I noticed that your sketches do not have any dimensions.  Where are your dimensions?

Bhavik has helped me with this issue, but I haven't put any dimensions yet, I was saving that for last. Is that a mistake?
