Load Speed

In just the past hour or so, my load speeds have become debilitatingly slow. I haven't added any major ilogic recently. Each time I press escape on the process I'm prompted to go to the forum. Any ideas? It's always been a little slow as my computer isn't fantastic, but today it has become drastically worse

Hi! A few things to check. Close all applications. Make sure all critical Windows updates are installed and the graphics driver is updated. Go to File Explorer -> %temp% -> clean up as many files as possible.

Install the latest Inventor update applicable to your Inventor release.

Right-click on Inventor desktop icon -> Properties -> Compatibility -> check "Run as Admin."

Edit Inventor Project settings and see if there are excessive number of library folders or favorite folders (particularly on a network drive or a shared folder or a cloud drive). Remove unused ones.

If nothing above helps, please install Microsoft Process Monitor and record a log of Inventor loading a file (filter out all processes except Inventor.exe). Then share the Process Monitor log file in zip with me directly [email protected].
