Linking text in title blocks to drawing and model properties

When setting up a drawing template in autodesk inventor, I'm experiencing issues linking the text in the title block to relevant drawing or material properties. For example trying to link a text box saying "Material" to the model property "material". As shown in the screen shot below, I have filled in the properties however when I click okay then return to the "Format Text" menu both the "Type" and the "Property" options are both empty.

Any advice would be appreciated,

Regards

Are you clicking the Add Text Parameter button?

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

I am returning to Inventor from Solidworks and this was helpful for me. I still would like to know how to change the options in the pull down menu and where they are located to plug in under iProperties. Is there a way to change the pull down menu and setup in iProperties? Thanks in advance.

This document might help, it's for IV2009 but is still current for Properties.

It turns out what I was looking for was in the Custom tab under iProperties. I hadn't figured out how to use it, but got it now. Thanks for your reply!
