Linear Rachet

I hope this message finds you all well. I am Joshua from the Philippines. I am reaching out to request guidance on the design of a ratchet mechanism using Autodesk Inventor. I badly needed someone who could teach me about this type of mechanism. Currently, I'm in my 3rd year of study with a course in BET-MT; we need a design for our thesis, and a linear ratchet would fit our idea. Here's a sample of mechanism:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYZCEh8ecKM  

Could someone give me a guide where you could demonstrate the steps involved in creating such a mechanism? Your insights would be invaluable to me as I work on developing my skills in mechanical design.
