My leader text is showing part number of the selected part, but it should go to the edge of the part witch is not really a good place, when I move it to the middle of the body, the part number disappears,
any work around this issue?

Hi, I'm afraid the short answer is no. The leader must be in contact with the part for the property to show in the text field. When you move the arrow to the middle of the part, Inventor is not sure what value to put in the field. The arrow could even be pointing to empty space. I hope that helps.
