Leader Text and Hole and Thread Text Not Visible on Inventor 2025 and 2026 Pro

I opened an idw file and all my leader text and hole and thread text is not showing, only the leader is visible. All of this was there a couple of days ago. Any idea on what it could be? If this has been asked before I do apologize. I am not finding anything in the search on it. Thanks in advance.

Never mind, updated windows and it all miraculously fixed it itself.

Which Windows updates actually fixed the issue for you?

Does Autodesk know why Inventor need those updates to allow that text to show?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dan,

Typically, it is probably a corrupted font issue or a corrupted display issue at the system level. Windows update fixing it usually means the defective behavior causes many applications or workflows to fail (including Inventor).

Many thanks!

Dan,

Version 24H2

OS Build 26100.4652

My drawings were perfect the day before this happened and the pdf's prove it and the next morning when I came in all of the leader text was not showing even though it was there. You could double-click the leader and there it was, but it did not show visually. I read somewhere on another forum that it was a particular font that was corrupted but I did not have that font. I also read about the graphics being corrupted but if that was the case a lot more items would have issues. I finally found somewhere about making sure you are running the latest Windows build. So, I took a leap of faith and did a check on Windows updates and installed the 24H2 build and all worked fine. I still do not know why the issue happened. Mind boggling
