Keyboard Shortcut (or 3Dconnexion radial wheel command) to edit part from assembly browser

Hi,

I often edit parts which are part of an assembly by RMB click- "Edit" on the part I need to edit, or from the radial menu (RMB on part).

Now I'd like to know if a keyboard shortcut for this is available that anyone is aware of.

Even better if I could find an implementation of this command in the 3DConnexion radial menu.

Can not find it. Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

I have not found any way to keybind the specific edit button.

Have you considered simply double clicking? Or assigning double click to your 3D connexion button?

I'm not certain, but it seems like this would not be possible since it first requires the user to select an assembly or component from the browser, which would lead more naturally to a RMB context menu.
