Joint slider constrain problem

Dear Mates,

I have a problem constraining the attached door retainer. I couldn't find how can I set the direction angle, because now it moves the wrong way. Using tangent constrain instead wouldn't work, because as I use it as a flexible assembly in other assemblies, it flips.

Any idea?

Thanks,

Zoltan

Perhaps like this. Only IAM is attached, other parts were not changed.

But actually, there's still an overlap between Gliedmutter and slot of Befestigungswinkel.

Thanks, but how did you do it?

Overlapping is not a problem, gleidmutter is made of rubber. The whole thing is a purchased unit.

If I'm remembering right, I've followed these steps:

- Edit Slider joint

- Click on Align 1 (First alignment). Select left angled face of large Befestigungswinkel

- Ground Befestigungswinkel in Browser

- Try the slider joint by mouse. Direction should be ok, but not limits and gap

- Add gap of 0,75 mm (taken by measurement of overlap

- Switch to Limits register

- Select Linear

- Hook on Start (0 mm)

- Hook on End (200 mm)

That's all. Unground large Befestigungswinkel, if necessary, re-align it relative to the origin planes, and ground it again.

Smiley Wink Now I'd wish the angular limitation be usable, too. But it seems to be broken ..

Later: Hmm. Normally a slider joint has only one DOF: Linear Movement along an axis. Your system only can rotate during the move, because the Gliedmutter rotates relative to the Schiene. If you fix that, then no more rotation can occur. In theory, another constraint would be better.

How about this one? Only changed files are added.

IMO it can't flip,  when used as flexible sug-assy. An angular limit is added, too.

Thank you! I could re-do the steps, now I have learnt something again.
