Hi,
I'm trying to set up some JIC fittings for use with tube and pipe and also a tube style that gives the pre-flare cut length.
(The existing tube style in content centre and parker triple-lok fittings cut the tube at the tip of the male and combine the nipple, nuts and sleeves into a single part.)
I have set up a nut and sleeve (1 part), and a nipple.
Note that the connection points in the nut are "behind" each other so that the tube correctly sticks into the nipple.
The connection arrows should be in the correct direction (they overlap in the nut).
The tube connection is set as flared and the nipple connection as threaded.
I can assemble the fittings onto the end of the tube correctly, or when loose:
but not when I try to add a node in the tube
The only way I can even get the fittings in is to add the nipple, then place - insert the nuts on but they connect the wrong way to the tube and nipple.
When first placed, the work points connect correctly flared to flared, threaded to threaded but the nut points the wrong way.
I have to flip the orientation (space bar) to visually get it pointing the right way but the the flared and threaded connections swap as well.
Can anyone help out with this?
I've attached the files including both authored and published versions of the fittings.
