Issues with rendering glass.

Test Image -002.pngI'm trying to create photo realistic images and having some issues with the rendering of glass panels.

Note the swirl on the glass.

I have tried altering the reflectivity, translucence, transparency, shadowing and render method with no luck.

I'm only using a trial version.

Any suggestions?

Hi! This could be related to the lighting styles. What lighting style are you using? Could you try using a different lighting style?

Many thanks!

Hi,

Currently using one light. Have tried moving the position to reduce shadowing and adjusted the light colour. Tried 2 lights, no difference.

Will keep on trying other settings but its a funny one because the views are perfect before I launch the render environment or use ray trace.

Thanks anyway for the suggestion.

Just a question - is that actually glass *through* glass i.e. the doors?  I suspect there may be an interaction between multiple transparent materials resulting in a moire pattern in the render.
