I'm constantly having issues with getting DXF's. I always have to do something weird to get them to work. So far the best method I've seen that works is.
Working method:
Open part.
select fact.
export face to DXF.
This method works however there are some issue..
If there are 3D fillets that are not grabbed and cut at there line resulting in inaccurate silhouettes
I can only select one surface to export
Sometimes I can manage to export the part as a dwg open in autocad then copy and paste it into a file that worked and resave it as a different part number but I'm still working on figuring out what file formats work for it. So far it looks like the dxf type of " autocad R12/LT2 DXF" sometimes works but not all the time. I've even tried just a plan "export to cad format" to dxf, open in a drawing and save as a dxf, save as a dwg and open in autocad and save as a dxf
Maybe its just the machines we are using at my company that are picky but it would be nice to just have a Ilogic rule that I can just hit run and it will export a 1 : 1 scale dxf but deciding on what face might be the hold up so preferably something I can hit run and it will export the top , front and side views as 1 : 1 dxf's would be nice as it would be "right click left click"
