Hi all,

I have strange error when I want to create ISOGEN file:

2020-07-06_11-35-30.jpg

I don't have a clue what is causing that error.

Inventor 2019 with latest updates + Vault Professional 2019 and Content Center on Vault Server 2020.

Thnx for any suggestion 🙂

Hi! I suspect this could be due to missing T&P styles. Please check your \Design Data\ folder pointed by the Project setting and see if "Tube & Pipe" folder is there. There should be a T&P iam file.

Try with the default \Design Data\ and see if it works (C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2019\Design Data\).

Many thanks!

Hi @johnsonshiue

i figure it out what is creating problem.

It is not style, it is Inventor template for Parts (ipt).

I try everything and eventually i noticed that when i replace my part template with Inventors default part template i don't have this error and i start to testing and find out...

when i add Annotate General Note in part template things goes wrong and start receiving this error. If i delete Annotate Note and purge template file things are the same...error is present. So, somehow, template file is starting to be "dirty" with some code inside and there no way to fix it.

So, problem is in Inventor template and when you add General Note Annotation in it.

I don't know in which part of Tube and Pipe part template is used to create something but if you add Annotation in it there no way to get ISOGEN file from that Tube and Pipe assembly.

So, is there way to fix it?

Thnx

Hi! Could you share the template file here? I would like to reproduce the behavior on my machine.

Many thanks!

Thnx 🙂
