is it possible to make it so, that centerlines doesn't require the third click?

Hi all,

This is a small thing, but it bugs me every time it happens.

My issue is, that I often forget to click the third time, when drawing straight centerlines, and I never use the round ones, so I would like do disable that feature.

Here a few images to illustrate, what I mean:
Let's say I want to have a centerline from 1 to 2 and a centerline from 3 to 4:

With most other things like lines, you just click on the star and the end. and then you have your line..

but with centerline it require a third click at a blank area (or right-click and 'create'), if I click my two clicks, and then click the next place, where I want a centerline I get this:

I have no use for that arc-centerline, so all it does is causing me frustration.

It is my own fault, and that some users of Inventor uses that function, but personally would I much rather draw straight centerlines with two clicks, instead of having to do it over and feel stupid, every time I do the mistake and forgets the third click.

I know, that I in this case, could use 'centerline bisectormbpUYRD7_4-1727179213601.png

It only require two clicks, and then next tow clicks for the next centerline bisector and so on.. and that is also what I most often do, and thereby am I used to-two-click-centerlines, but in some situations do I need to use the other one, and this is where, I make the mistake and forgets that those needs the third "empty click"

Have you tried the "Centerline Bisector" (the centerline between two lines), under "Symbols?

I guess, you didn't read all of my ramblings 😉

As I wrote,  that is what I most often do, and thereby am I used to-two-click-centerlines, but in some situations do I need to use the other one (or it is the easiest, except I then often forget to end the centerline with that third "empty click").
