Is it possible to export 2019 ipt files to a 2018 Solidworks?

I know this might be really dumb to ask, it's just that i've never seen an answer to this particular question, so thought i'd ask.

Not directly. You'll need to send it out as *.step/stp or parasolid *.xt

Hi! No, Inventor can import SWX files, but not exporting. Our partner ITI Technology may have tools allowing files from one CAD system to be translated another CAD system.
