ipart turns into derived part when placed as base view in drawing

 

Please see the attached ipart and drawing, I'm using inventor 2017

 

Anyone know what is going on here?

ipart children are essentially derived parts..

 

Whats the problem?

 

When I create a drawing of an ipart I select the "factory" file and then pick the member in the base view dialog..

There might be slight differences if you picked the ipart child as the source..
