Inventor2020 not printing to scale on DesignJet T120 and Windows 10

I responded to a post on the autoCAD forums about the DesignJet T120 and Windows 10 not printing to scale.  No solution was found there and I was sent here.
Program Inventor 2020

Printer DesignJet T120

Drawings are not being produced to scale with a .030" difference on a 20.688 inch length.  When a PDF is exported it is also not to scale when printed but by .04" and when it is printed to PDF I get an even different difference.  I'm wondering if the fault lay somewhere in how Windows, Inventor, and the printer are communicating.

Drivers are up to date, and I'm not sure what more to try.  Any help would be appreciated.

Does the same drawing printed somewhere else (or another drawing printed somewhere else) print to scale?

If so problem is likely with the printer itself/its driver

I believe that printer has a "Paper Advance" calibration that you may need to perform to adjust that.

Unfortunately we only have the one printer which prints large enough to determine that (The problematic one).  The deviation is small enough that on a smaller scale it is not easily measured.

Hi! If you have access to AutoCAD, you can try a test to help narrow down the issue. Open the Inventor idw and save it as Inventor dwg. Then open the dwg file in AutoCAD and print. Does it print to scale?

Many thanks!

This issue is still not solved.  I was able to use a work around by scaling the drawing directly during printing but I had to scale a silly 1.001933.  I still do not know why the program is not printing to scale.  Though I was unaware of an issue on the old plotter and when we were using 2018.  Unfortunately I don't have time to reinstall the 2018 and associated updates and try to plot again.  This issue does cause a frustrating increase in the amount of time used for different tasks, and I have very little to spare at the moment.

Because its an issue with your printer and not the CAD software..

I just printed out an 8x8" box 1:1 scale on 3 printers here..

1=7.94"

2=7.97"

3=8.00" exactly..

Its not the file.. Its the printers..
