Inventor won't check in files with add-in

recently files won''t check into the vault when using the Vault add-in in inventor.

I can click the check-in button, get the check in window, and after i get the loading windows where it checks in files in the vault.

however the files is not checked in to the vault. the check-in button stays highlighted, line is still blue in the vault.

any updates / refreshes doesn't help.

when closing the file i get the question if i want to check-in the files, then it does work. get the same screens, refresh the vault and then the file is checked in.

i can also check in files from the vault (right click--> check in) which ussually shouldn't work, because inventor files have to be checked in by inventor...

Are there any known issues/ solution about this problem?

@GeertvanderHeide

Can you share a screenshot of the dialog below?  Which boxes are checked when you are checking your files in?  The description sounds like maybe "Keep files checked out" is set.

It's there so that you can choose to upload the current state of your files but keep working on them.  This was often my "end of the day" choice if I knew I'd be working on the same thing the next morning.  That way, I knew the day's changes were safely in the Vault if my machine died overnight.
