Inventor View (Viewer), How to remove Planes and Dimensions?

I am trying to share my Inventor model with a client.  When I open my assemby in the Inventor View, viewer program all the the planes and associated dimensions show.

Of course this makes to impossible to use.  How do I save the native assembly file to eliminate this in the Viewer?

There does not appear to be any options in the Viewer itsalf to eliminate this.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums. In a simple test I just did, turning off the workplanes, sketch visibility, etc. while still in Inventor should solve this problem.

thanks for reply

new to Inventor, so what i need to do is go into each part and each plane and turn off visibility?

The view->object visibility setting does not seem to work in this application.

Ok i figured it out thanks.

However, it seems better to create a DWF file and use Autodesk design review.

Good to hear you figured it out. I recall yrs ago there were discussions as to whether or not the default workplanes should be turned on within the templates at the previous company I worked at. Come to find out it averaged out so to speak, those with some background with Inventor choose to leave the workplanes off and those who had little experience wanted them turned on within the templates. What I am getting at there is - there may be the possibility who ever is working in Inventor wants those work features left on or visible. Creating a dwf instead may work, just be aware there are difficulties for some reason or another where some locations will not be able to download and install Design Review. If you're sharing these files locally there shouldn't be a problem though.

Inventor View is a garbage piece of software.
