Inventor Sheet Metal Forming

I am trying to create a dome feature that has 1/4" holes with 3/8" staggered center offests hat are patterned all the way around the dome. Is there a way to create a perforated sheet in sheet metal with these holes in it and then form it to create the dome feature? Or is there a way to pattern these holes in a dome at all?

As you can see in the attached image this is what we can get. Now if we try revolving it the top holes turn into a mess and because of the stagger the pattern we cant figure out how to do. I am hoping there is some type of form function that can do this...as i know there is most likely an easy way to do this, but we just cant figure it out.

You cannot do this from sheet metal.

There is no Easy Button solution.

Several Curve Driven Patterns will get you there.

Thank you...is there any way this is going to be offered in the future. It seems like it would be a time saver for many circumstances.

I don't work for Autodesk, and in any case, they can't generally comment on future functionality.
