Inventor sheet metal, Cant make bend between flat face and contoured roll

I am trying to get the narrow flange you see on the back of the part sticking out, to be rolled to the contour of edges adjacent to it. I tried contour flange but it wouldn't let me make a bend from the contoured face to the face on the top of the part. I also tried a contour roll using the radius of the face on the side but same deal I couldn't create a bend between the top edge and the top face of part. I'm trying to do what you see in that model only have it be contoured to the back of the part.

   Second thing is how to I extend the edges of the face on the back there to have a smaller gap? i want it to be tight fit for welding

the bend feature and flange feature wont work on this rolled piece
