Inventor - revolve tool problem - edges shown up

How do I make edge dimension shown in Inventor at right bottom corner?

I feel like there should be a way without using "measure" every time.

Bottom picture is example from Fusion 360.

Thank you

Hi! I am sorry I am bit confused. The title of the thread does not seem to be related to your question. I guess you are looking for a way to show measurement in the lower right status bar, right. I don't think Inventor display the measurement like your screenshot. You do need Measure command to perform measurement. Capturing it on status bar is a very interesting idea. But I guess it would limit the data displaying there.

Many thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.

Photo was an example.

So, what I want is that Inventor displays the edge dimension when I click it without using measure command.

I am looking for option or setting for this.

Thanks

The answer is: you can't do this in Inventor.  There is no option or setting for this, because this functionality is not in the program.  It should be possible to write an add-in to do this, but I think it's much easier to use the Measure tool.

To explore the programming needed for an add-in, try the Inventor Customization Forum.  To propose a change to Inventor that would provide this, post an idea in the Inventor Ideas forum.
