Inventor Rendering Poor Video Quality After Running 13 Hours

Last night I left my computer running so that Inventor could render a video of 10 seconds.

This morning I was hoping for a great video but all I got was terrible. In total the rendering lasted for almost 13 hours.

The computer is a high end gaming PC, and the pictures I was looking at between each frame looked fantastic. Settings where: 60fps, 45 iterations.

In the attachments you can see the video.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Thanks,

Mats

Inventor version?  What updates have you applied to it?

Show all of your rendering animation?  I assume you are using Inventor studio.

Also for the future please adhere to this guideline: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/embedding-an-image/td-p/7695110

I would first advise you to upgrade to the latest..  You still have the original release which is now 2 years old.  Inventor 2017 updates: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor-products/downloads/caas/downloads/content/inventor-2017-updates-for-customers-subscription.html

Also open or start a new part.  Go to the Tools/Application Options/Hardware tab and select the diagnostic button.  Select OK and then reply here and paste your results.

I would probably not use *.wmv  - did you note that the size of your video file was much much smaller than the still image file that you attached here?

I think tfi cad tips has some tips on Inventor Studio.

Hello @Anonymous you might want to look into getting a codec that would allow you to export to .avi with better quality.

Here is a post with a few good links that should help:

Inventor Video Presentation File .avi vs .wmv Quality
