Inventor Professional 2017 2D Sketch Constraints Change Line Colors

Hi guys,i'm not getting the constrains in 2-d sketching.The line or 2d sketch changing colours like green and blue what does it mean?.kindly help me .

RC on your sketch tool bar and select.

As far as the sketch changing blue/green, sounds like maybe your color scheme in what ever one you have setup in the application options.  Please post a screen shot of what you are talking about for this.

Hi! I looked at your prior postings I think I know where the issue is. You are not new to Autodesk products (AutoCAD and Powermill). But, you are new to Inventor. I suggest you may want to start with Inventor tutorials or Youtube videos. You may want to focus on 2D Sketch related workflows.

Inventor 2D Sketch is dimension and constraint driven. It means that each line or point can be constrained to a location or relative to other geometry. If you change the dimension or the constraint, the geometry will move accordingly. The change in color denotes if the given geometry is free to move or not. It is for reference purpose only. In some cases, a piece of geometry cannot move but it bears the color to move or vice versa.
