Could someone recommended where be the best place to start when upgrading some hardware to improve performance?
Our models are roughly 600MB in size and contain about 1000+ parts. We are using iLogic to change part sizes/materials/colours, suppress features, replace components etc
General modelling is ok, its the execution of iLogic code which takes longest and the opening of large assemblies (Inventor is opening them in express mode)
Current setup is:
Dell Precision workstation
Intel Xeon @CPUE3-1220 v3 @ 3.10 GHz
16GB RAM
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit running on 226GB HDD
AMD FirePro V4900 Graphics
Autodesk Product Design Suite 2015
Thanks
