Hi, Can anyone help me with a problem that im having for some time. Im trying to create a 3d model of a nesting sheet.

The various parts have a chamfer feature, when i try to create the model by using assembly file sometimes it doesn´t do anything, and sometime only create one part out of ten. I don´t know what im doing wrong.

@Anonymous ,

Could you try to use another empty folder for "Folder for assembly Components"?

Hi @Anonymous,

Sorry about that. Is that possible to share your data to us? So we can have a try to reproduce the problem. Also, could you let me know which Nesting version you are using?

Thanks,

Willson

Im sorry but i cannot share data. Also im using autodesk vault for getting the parts for the nesting, and when do create 3d model its also going to vault workspace, i dont know if this could complicate things.

This is the version that we are using.

Understood. So, is that possible to try to use Nesting 2022? We fixed a missing parts issue there.

Thanks,

Willson

Hi. We are still using the 2021 version, but i think we are about to change to 2022 very soon. Also, it was the Autodesk Vault that was causing the problem, as soon as i stop doing nesting using the vault workspace, it solved the problem.

I created a part using a folder in my desktop and then i nest that part to a sub-folder, and it worked fine.

Thank you very much for your support.

Thanks,

Helder
